Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Varanasi

Pickup from Varanasi airport or station, hotel check-in and an evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Day 2

Kashi darshan and Sarnath

Kashi Vishwanath darshan, Kal Bhairav, Assi Ghat and Sarnath.

Day 3

Varanasi to Prayagraj

Drive about 120 km. Triveni Sangam boat ride and snan, Bade Hanuman Mandir and Anand Bhavan.

Day 4

Prayagraj to Ayodhya

Drive about 165 km. Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan and the evening Sarayu aarti.

Day 5

Ram Mandir and drive to Lucknow

Morning Ram Mandir darshan, then drive about 135 km to Lucknow.

Day 6

Lucknow city tour

Bara Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Chota Imambara, the Residency and Hazratganj. Optional day trip to Naimisharanya instead.

Day 7

Lucknow to Agra

Drive about 355 km (6 hours) to Agra. Evening at Mehtab Bagh for the Taj view.

Day 8

Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah. The Taj is closed to general visitors on Fridays, so we plan the order around it.

Day 9

Agra to Mathura-Vrindavan

Drive about 60 km. Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadhish Temple and Vishram Ghat in Mathura, then the evening aarti at Banke Bihari in Vrindavan.

Day 10

Vrindavan, Govardhan and departure

Prem Mandir, ISKCON and Nidhivan, with Govardhan or Barsana if time allows. Drop at Mathura, Agra or Delhi on request.
